Where the Marketing Money Went

Spend, clicks, leads, and cost per lead, one row per channel. A single report that shows what each lead cost, without a zero where the truth is simply unknown.

Marketing money goes out through several doors. An ad platform, a listing site, a social page, a printed card. Each one has its own dashboard, its own definitions, and its own idea of what counts as a result. Add them up and you still cannot say which one produced a customer.

Start with your own tracking

The report begins with your own click tracking. Ad clicks and social post links go through your own tracking links, so each click is recorded on your server and then forwarded to the page. Bots and test hits are filtered out, so the count means people.

Follow the click to the lead

The click identity is carried onto the landing page and into the quote form. When someone fills in the form, the lead is tied to the campaign that produced it. That is the link most reports are missing. Without it you know what you spent and how many leads arrived, but not which spend produced which lead.

Platform data where it is connected

Where an ad platform is connected, the report pulls paid campaign insights, a spend to lead funnel, and per creative performance. Local services leads sync into the inbox. Where a platform is not connected, you can upload a campaign report or enter a channel by hand for the months before. Overlapping periods are refused, so nothing is counted twice.

Never a zero where the truth is unknown

This is a small rule with a large effect. If a channel has no data, the report does not show a zero that looks like a result. A zero would tell you the channel did nothing, when the honest answer is that nobody has measured it yet. Showing the gap is more useful than hiding it.

One report, one row per channel

The result is a single table showing spend, impressions, clicks, leads, and cost per lead, one row per channel, for 7, 30, or 90 days. Leads are broken out by type underneath. You can drill down per campaign. Site analytics, link tracking, calls, texts, social posts, and page performance each have their own panel.

Sharing it

A read only reviewer role lets you give a marketing coach or a partner a login that sees the reports and nothing else. They can look at the numbers with you without touching the rest of the admin.

The value is simple. You know what every lead cost, and you can stop paying for a channel that produces nothing. Real numbers from your own records, in one place, rather than a vendor's summary of its own results.

The first call is free. Bring the last three months of marketing bills, and the question of which of them produced a customer. We will tell you what we can do, what we cannot, and what we think you should do next. Visit https://evolv-to.net/contact to set it up.
